I left the state education system and began working in a small independent school in Maleny. In this school I had a chance to deepen my understanding and practice and to work with educators who care deeply for children’s social and emotional growth along with academic growth.
I then trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy and Systemic Constellation practice which still influences my thinking and understanding regarding how conflict or harm can echo through time within groups. This led to consultant, leadership and advisory roles across SE Qld assisting schools to build and rebuild relationship centred behaviour support systems across their schools.
I worked closely with Positive Behaviour for Learning, Functional Behaviour Assessment and Restorative approaches in this time, deepening my learning and awakening a passion for school systems where relationships are held as a priority.
I now work with schools across Australia with a focus on assisting schools to build consistent relationship skills across the school.
I train in Introductory practices in Restorative Dialogue and Circle Work.
I offer workshops that are participatory and engaging. Participants can join a workshop I advertise through my mailing list and website or I make workshops by design for individual schools.
I am a board member of Restorative Practices International. I have participated as a workshop presenter in many conferences in Australia.
